written over the course of five months, before and during the covid-19 pandemic, brutal murder of george floyd (acab), and empowering worldwide observations of protest, charger port's first full-length explores familiar experimental mathy song structures and passages, indulged in on the "separation of church and hate" EP, and free-form improvisation, while leaving room for breath and reflection in the between-song interludes. from start to finish, kamikaze, quasimodo questions the integrity of modern song structures and musical boundaries in regards to what makes music catchy. surely, you will leave this album with bits and pieces of tunes from it caressed deep within the inner recesses of your skull cavity, creating subsequent earworms in the process.
